As an advisor to the new C.O.O., J.S. Barclay was assigned the development of a new corporate-wide Business Development Plan. The goal of the plan was to take the company from $40 million in annual sales to $100 million over five years.

With the need for increased opportunities, J.S. Barclay was asked to develop a Lead Generation Program which would identify and track future opportunities six months to
a year henceforth. With a pipeline and subsequent database of qualified prospects generated, a new Project Forecast Report was created, implemented and updated weekly.

J.S. Barclay advised the company on the benefits of obtaining a GSA Federal Supply Schedule, and was subsequently chartered to help write key portions of the proposal, to advise on the strategy and negotiations and prepare the document for final submission.

A News Release Program was initiated and implemented utilizing web-based wire services. Until that point, the company’s contract awards went unnoticed.

Without knowing much about their competition, the company retained J.S. Barclay to conduct
Competitive Analysis on selective firms.

Mr. Hoffman of J.S. Barclay was asked to solely represent the company at new conferences,
to assess their value, to network and to analyze the potential for a booth and new business.
